There are now clinics running at a number of local yards, on a regular basis. This means that I am based at that yard for the whole day, usually once a month (although there is one that I visit every two weeks), and treat up to four or five horses there (depending on their issues, yard routine, etc).
If you would like to arrange a clinic for your yard, please get in touch - it's fun, you get to see a number of horses treated, it is free of charge for new clients, and a real treat for your horse! |

A post from Heather Moffatt on her Facebook page, after I offered to help someone with their mare: Heather Moffett I love the Masterson Method, my friend Vicky Devlin is also a practitioner, and our horses were also the case studies for Leigh Jackson, who is our MM practitioner down here. I feel that it is the best bodywork that I have come across yet

Two new dates have been set up for the 1-day courses run at Equi-Health farm in Shropshire. The course will be held on July 7th, and again on 18th August. It is aimed at those new to the Masterson Method of Equine BodyWork, and introduces the principles and major techniques. It is very hands on, and some of the feedback from the previous course included these comments: "Great course for building a relationship and understanding your horse's body"; "it's amazing to see the horse relax, enjoy and ask for more";" it was brilliant!" Contact me or the venue directly to book your place. More details on the Calendar page.

Back in the UK after a week in Wisconsin, as an Assistant Instructor on the 5-day Advanced course. We had a fabulous group of students, two Phase III students, plus Jim and Stefanie teaching. We all had a great time, learned loads - new techniques, variations and refinements on tried and trusted ones. And amazing barns to work in, giving us a wide variety of horses to work on - from those with serious physical issues, up to Grand Prix showjumpers. Now back home, sorting out next week's appointments, looking forwards to getting out and about, and trying out these new techniques on all my clients! I'll also be mentoring two of these students through their Phase II case studies, so that will be fun too.

What a wonderful weekend! On Saturday I ran a 1-day course on Masterson Method bodywork, at EquiHealth Farm, near Oswestry. The facilities there are fabulous, and Wendy's hospitality soon had everyone feeling welcome, and relaxed. We had very responsive horses to work on, and soon all the students were getting amazing results, and went home ready to try out their new skills on their own horses.
On Sunday I went back to Synchrony Horseworks, to work on three more of Ailsa's wonderful horses. |

Had a wonderful time at the weekend, working with a group at Synchrony Horseworks. I gave a demonstration of Masterson Method techniques, using Ailsa's wonderful horse, who at the age of 37 is still being ridden. He really enjoyed his massage, and was a great model for the group. We will hopefully be running a one-day course there later in the summer, so look out for details and dates.

Another milestone for the website, we clocked up over 5000 views this month, which is more than I ever thought we'd get to. Seems like word is getting around about just how effective Equine BodyWork is.
We were also out last weekend to watch some of our clients competing in local dressage competitions; it's always good to see the horses going well, and the riders happy with their performances. Even better when they win on their first outing in a higher class!

The latest video is now on the website, showing River having his first massage - and what a lovely boy he is.
We are planning for more videos, if you have any specific breed, or particular problems/issues, or even techniques you would like to see, let me know and we will do our best to include in the next round of filming.
If you havent seen them all yet, check out Izzy and Jezebel on their own pages. Enjoy!

So, after all the hard work by the production team, the first video is now online - check out the "Watch these videos!" page. This one shows Izzy, a Dutch Warmblood dressage mare, being treated specifically for neck and poll issues. There are more in the pipeline, showing amongst others, a Shire mare and an Appaloosa. They will be uploaded as soon as we have put the final touches to them, so keep checking back for them.
